Hello AccessIndians,
Namaste to all.
My university disability department has agreed to purchase softwares
and technologies that are necessary for completing my studies
comfortably.
I am going to be studying some complicated subjects such financial
modelling, econometrics, environment forecast etc. Which involves
analytical softwares such R, Stata, SPSS etc. Besides usual diagrams
and maths.
So I request you all to kindly suggest me which
softwares/tools/machines I can ask them to buy for me. For the time
being, obvious ones are:
JAWS, NVDA advanced voices, Abby Find Reader Professional, Any diagram
reading device or Braille display which is extremely useful for my
studies.
Do please advise me if you know any better tools for studying diagrams
and mathematics.
Additionally, I am not sure if they would provide or I need to buy
KNFB for my iPhone. In case, I need to procure it, would like to join
my friend and I as the cost can be shared between the group of 6. We
2-3 are there.
