Hello all
Hope you all are flourishing in your respective areas. I am Ritesh,
serving as assistant professor in the department of education Delhi
University
Some of you might be having idea that the duration of B.Ed course has
been increased from one to two years from this session nationwide.
This has primarily been done in order to provide a wider scope to the
potential teachers of nation regarding critical theoretical as well as
practical/field concerns of education in general and school education
in particular.
I am delighted to inform you that the newly designed B.Ed syllabus
caters the content of most marginalized sections of society such as
children with disability, children of migrant and displaced families,
child labour etc. But unfortunately, these areas are least documented
in literature as of now. Particularly studies exploring or addressing
these issues in Indian context are extremely rare. However some
scholarly written documents regarding child labour, migration
displacement etc can be referred here. But what impact do they make on
the education of a child is something which is merely found
representation in the academia.
I request you all to send some matter on these issues on my email id
[email protected] if you have.
The matter can be in the form of movie/documentaries, book/articles,
stories etc. Matter situated in Indian context is much desirable.
Thanks in anticipation.
