hello, when you use this option i.e. save as text with hindi pdf files, often you lose it's character encoding if it is in unicode hence, i use the utility called UniPDF Converter. else you can select the text from pdf file itself and then copy the same in word file. there might be other ways which might be suggested. i use this method and it works fine.
