try the following.
1. Open a blank Word file and minimize it.
2. open the Non-Unicode Hindi text file in Acrobat Reader.
3. Go to edit menu, press down arrow, select the copy the file to
clipboard option and press Enter.
4. Wait a while, maximize the word file, Press control V.
5. In this way, you can retain the non-Unicode font of the pdf file in
the word file. If you convert in text format before pasting in a word
file, you will loose all text format and your desire will be never
met.

when you use this option i.e. save as text with hindi pdf files,
often you lose it's character encoding if it is in unicode hence, i
use the utility called UniPDF Converter. else you can select the text
from pdf file itself and then copy the same in word file.
there might be other ways which might be suggested. i use this method
and it works fine.
