hello, check your data card manual. if it is plug and play data card, you can plug the device and simply connect it. it will do all the configuration automatically. now do one thing, plug the device. then find the network icon in the system tray by pressing tab on the desktop. press space bar. the device or network like idea internet etc will be listed. select by pressing space. then hit enter on the connect button. it will connect automatically.
