Hey Guys,

I thought I should share this bit of good experiences in London.

Foremost is walking. I’ve never enjoyed my walks so much after
becoming totally blind. But walking in London is pleasure due to well
paved footpaths, drivers courtacy to wait for a blind person to cross
the street.

Then I was pleasantly surprised that many of the ointment boxes in the
shopping ccentre had Braille print telling the VI what is it; but
understandably, a limited crucial information minus even a brand name.

Third one is bit general, transport authorities do provide alternative
format maps for blind. Yet to receive it though.
Additionally, my bank NatWest Bank has shared that they have
provisions for providing alternative format bank statements.

Those little things do make life bit more easier, isn’t it?

But touch screens are still a problem. Gonna see my bank's audio ATM
machine shortly

Cheers
