GoogleMaps is good for turn by turn directions. You will also be told on
which side of the road is your destination. Blindsquare is good if you want
to know what is around you. It is handy for giving your location to someone
who is trying to find you or to discover things about your location.

Everything depends on your use case. If you are ok with turn by turn
directions, go for Google Maps. If you want to know what is around you and
to track that in realtime, blindsquare is the best.
