Judiciary though independent organ under the Constitution of India draws its salaries from the exchequer. They are not obliged to follow the orders of the executive however, the social justice is something that they must agree to implement within their institutions. They do provide benefits to SCs and STs, why target disabled alone? This hypocrisy is beyond reasons.
On one hand the High Court applauds the abilities of Visually impaired as advocates and solicitors, civil servants and on other hand it seeks exemption through State from filling up the posts by Blind candidates - forget about reservation. In short, if a blind lawyer want to become a judge, he can't as the state has obtained exemption under Section 33 from filling up these posts by this category! And how can different states have different parameters about the abilities of visually impaired users?
