Door Darshan had organised an evening of music called Meri Awaaz Suno. At the Siri Fort Auditorium this evening. There were some fascinating blind singers. Bhushan Toshnival from Pune was simply outstanding. Tremendous voice, great control and superb rendering of a Manna Dey song. Then there was a girl called Alvina Qureshi. Sang a few outstanding Lata Mangshkar songs. Another great voice was Aniket Ujwal from Akola in Maharashtra. He did a good job with Rafi songs. There was a young girl Sangita Yadav from Muzafarnagar who was also very good. Finally there was Saifur Rehman from Delhi who did some great rendering of Rafi sahab. Enjoyable evening.
