This is not a standalone story. there are several schools where peer
classmates make fun of disability and disabled classmates. This child
couldn't tolerate for long and used knife to retaliate. such incidents
raise burning question about how to build inclusive-classroom in

नौवीं के छात्र ने अपने सहपाठी पर चाकू चला दिया
हाई स्कूल में साथ पढ़ने वाले सहपाठी उसकी अपंगता का मजाक उड़ाते थे।
पहले वो खामोश रहा, बर्दाश्त नहीं हुआ तो उन्हें दी भयावह सजा। दरअसल
गर्वनमेंट मॉडल हाई स्कूल सेक्टर-29 में बुधवार को नौवीं के छात्र ने
अपने सहपाठी पर इसलिए चाकू चला दिया था क्योंकि उसके सहपाठी उसकी अपंगता
का मजाक उड़ाते थे।
कोई कहता कि तू मोटरसाइकिल नहीं चला सकता तो कोई कहता कि तू कुछ भी नहीं
कर सकता। कोई उसके फेल होने पर उसे चिढ़ाता था। यही नहीं सहपाठी उसे कई
नामों से बुलाते थे। कई दिनों से वह चुप था और जब उसका गुस्सा फूटा तो
उसने चिढ़ाने वाले एक सहपाठी पर चाकू से हमला कर दिया।
पहले तो चाकू चलाने का कारण सीट पर बैठने के लिए हुआ विवाद बताया गया,
मगर जब स्कूल में अन्य सहपाठियों, अध्यापकों और प्रिंसिपल से बात की गई
तब पता चला कि उसके इस गुस्से का असली कारण वह घटिया मजाक था, जिसे वह कई
दिनों से सह रहा था।
स्कूल में इस तरह की पहली घटना के बाद अध्यापक और प्रिंसिपल भी सतर्क हो
गए हैं और उनका कहना है कि अब बच्चों के बैग चेक किए जाया करेंगे। वहीं
चाइल्ड राइट्स कमीशन ने स्कूल प्रिंसिपल को कमीशन के समक्ष पेश होने के
लिए समन भेजा है।
जिस छात्र ने चाकू चलाया, वह जन्म से अपंग है। उसके दोनों हाथों की
उंगलियां नहीं हैं। स्कूल में सहपाठी उसे अक्सर चिढ़ाते थे कि वह
मोटरसाइकिल नहीं चला सकता। कोई काम नहीं कर सकता। कोई उसे किसी नाम से
पुकारता तो कोई किसी और से।
वहीं स्कूल के अनुसार हमला करने वाला छात्र पढ़ाई-लिखाई में ज्यादा ठीक
नहीं था और इस बार नौंवी में फेल हो गया था। इस बात को लेकर भी बच्चे
उसको छेड़ते थे। बच्चे के पिता प्लंबर हैं।
स्कूल ने 10 दिन के लिए किया निष्कासित
घटना के बाद स्कूल प्रिंसिपल राजेश कुमार ने हमला करने वाले छात्र को
स्कूल के शिकायत निवारण फोरम की सिफारिशों के बाद दस दिन के लिए स्कूल से
निष्कासित कर दिया है। प्रिंसिपल का कहना है कि स्कूल में इस तरह की घटना
पहली बार हुई है। भविष्य में इस तरह की घटना को रोकने के लिए स्कूल में
बच्चों के स्कूल बैग भी अब रोजाना चेक किए जाएंगे।
चाइल्ड राइट्स कमीशन की चेयरपर्सन देवी सिरोही ने बताया की स्कूल
प्रिंसिपल को सोमवार को कमीशन के समक्ष पेश होने का समन भेजा गया है।
कमीशन इस मामले को बड़ी गंभीरता से ले रहा है। स्कूल प्रबंधन से मामले की
पूरी जानकारी ली जाएगी।
वहीं राजीव त्रेहन, मनोचिकित्सक, सिविल अस्पताल, पंचकूला ने बताया कि इस
तरह की घटनाओं के लिए घर व समाज का माहौल सबसे ज्यादा जिम्मेदार होता है।
अगर इस तरह के बच्चे को दूसरे छात्र परेशान करते हैं तो स्कूल में टीचरों
की जिम्मेदारी बनती है कि वे इस तरफ ध्यान दें और ऐसे परेशान करने वाले
छात्रों को समझाएं।

This type of humulation not only in school level I have face such
problem while studying in postgraduation in Kuvempu University in
Karnataka in the year 1998 one of my classmate abused me as KURUDA
means blind in kannada language inside class room when I complained to
the professor but he did not take any action though my classmates
stood with me, instead professor called me to room & said (do not make
politics in university) even after I had faced many problem from that
boy but still I stood second rank in 1999 sociology department of this
university this was common at that time but now I do not know how is
there in kuvempu university I was the first blind student to that
university after me many blinds passed out of that university.
