When I write this mail, I am not prejudiced. Neither am I angry or frustrated. I am cool and calm as I write this mail. I watched the youtube link given herein and found that the anchor was trying to condone whatever happened in JNU on 9th feb. He established the fact that videos shown on different news channels regarding the involvement of Kanhaiya, were fabricated. I cannot see the videos and hence feel free of all the wrong info which was inserted through the fabricated videos. Therefore, let us now discuss the fairness or the opposite, of the happenings of JNU in the light of the available facts. Fact 1: The court remanded Kanhaiya to firstly in the police custody and afterwards, when police said that no more questioning is required, in judicial custody. Fact 2: SC did not entertain Kanhaiya's plea that SC should hear his bale petition. Fact 3. Public perception does not matter in court hearings. Some will say, he is right, others will say he is antinational. Fact 4: If Kanhaiya has the right to express his feelings, the people who shouted antinational slogans, have the right to express their venomous sentiments, so do the lawyers have. If somebody abuses you, you may get violent and even injure the person. Fact 5: JNU has been the fertile ground for breeding antinational feelings. Be it nexelite forces like Maoists, or Kashmiri terrorists like Afzal guru, Gilani etc, JNU students and teachers support radicle views and feel proud in it. They feel they must look a bit different. Looks that they are very affected with the advertisement, "Its different" They glorify radicalism. In the light of the above facts, JNU people should introspect if they are doing any good to the nation by strengthening the radicle forces. We are told that Democratic students union was banned by Congress long back. But JNU supports it. Not only that, Rahul Gandhi, whose party banned it, comes in support of the same Union as he opposes the police action against the students Union who stand by the banned Union. Criticising the policies of the government is one thing and abusing the nation is different. When we spread antinational feelings, we may invite violent protests. The same is happening in Patyala House court. I would like to here the truth from the JNU students and teachers who are in the list. I hope they shall also speak without anger, provocation, frustration or prejudice. Thanks and regards.
