Hi, At present available tools for studying science and math contains- 1. MathType and MathPlayer from design science works with NVDA but doesn't have any OCR for identifying Scientific content. 2. Infty Reader OCR and ChattyInfty from Science Accessibility Net. But these are very costly and contain there own TTS.
As far as the institutes are concerned, Kartik Sawhney, Paras Jain and Prityush are doing there studies from normal sighted institutions.
