Dear all, I have an acoustic O cut guitar of Pluto, on which I am able to pluck, strum and play pretty well. The only two issues I still have with guitaring in general, are barchords and playing multiple strokes in one beat. Barchords will come with time and maturity, I hope, but trebling and related stuff is unnaturally difficult as it seems to me. I am unsure if this will just come with practice or not, but I think there is a certain degree possibly of adaptibility and accessibility involved here. Most of my sighted peers have as much trouble with this as me too, but all the same... My guitar is as mainstream as it could be, but for plucking a certain string repetitively in a beat or strumming a chord quickly with down up strokes is challenging, because as I am guessing, I am unable to judge the distance between my plectrum and strings and plucking/strumming that should be ideally maintain, in order to get all the strings played clearly yet to be fast and not let my plectrum go any extra distance or in the spaces between the strings. My impression of my playing is that in order to play all strings loud and clear, my plectrum is going too much inside the interstring spaces and thus, hampering the flow of playing and tempo. If I try to avoid this, I inevitably just skip many important strings during a strum and the chord sounds extremely incomplete. I am really wondering possible solutions that other visually impaired guitarists might have implemented to actualize trebling, playing multiple strokes in one beat, doing quick down-up strokes, all that very seemlessly and efficiently. One thought that came to me was if alternative and more-accessible plectrums existed that somehow simplified this or something of the sort... Thanks a lot for all your help!
