hi sir! please read the below information about deleting emails on gmail. Easy Ways to Delete Multiple Messages in Gmail by C. Taylor, Demand Media Deleting multiple emails can help you manage your time more efficiently. Deleting multiple emails can help you manage your time more efficiently. Gmail's inbox can display a maximum of 100 emails per page, so if the emails you want to delete span multiple pages, you have to search and delete them in multiple actions. However, Gmail offers three faster methods for deleting multiple messages. The Search feature enables you to display only applicable results and select all listed messages even if they span multiple pages. Creating a filter performs a similar action, but a filter can also automatically perform the delete action on new, incoming messages. Finally, the Select drop-down menu offers quick selections of starred, unstarred, read and unread messages that you can subsequently delete. Step 1 Log in to your Gmail account. Step 2 Enter a search term in the top search field. For example, enter someone's name, email address or some keyword. To display all emails, enter "label:all" (without quotes here and throughout). Step 3 Check the box at the top of the search results to select all results on the page. Step 4 Click "Select All ### Conversations" at the top of the search results. This option only appears after you've selected all page results. Step 5 Click the "Delete" trashcan icon and confirm your selection, if prompted. Doing so moves all selected messages to the Trash folder, where are automatically deleted after 30 days; click "More," select "Trash," select all messages as you did previously, and then click "Delete Forever" to remove the messages immediately. Step 1 Click the gear icon at the top of the inbox, and then select "Settings." Step 2 Click "Filters," and then select "Create a New Filter" at the bottom of the window. Step 3 Enter your filter criteria in the pop-up window -- for example, a sender's email address, a specific subject or a keyword. To find all emails, enter "*" in the "From" field. Enter "before:2013/09/30" in the "Has the Words" field and use the current date -- or any date, but make sure to use the format YYYY/MM/DD -- to filter all past emails. Step 4 Click "Create filter with this search." Step 5 Place a check mark in the "Delete It" box, and then place a check mark in the "Also Apply Filter to ### Matching Conversations Below" box. Step 6 Click "Create Filter" to delete filtered results and return to the Filter list. Deleted emails are moved to the Trash folder, so open the Trash folder, select the emails, and then click "Delete Forever" to remove them immediately. Step 7 Click "Delete" and confirm your selection to delete the filter and prevent it from subsequently running on new, incoming emails. This won't be a problem for date filters. Step 1 Click the label for which you'd like to delete emails, such as "Inbox" or "All Mail." If a label isn't visible, click "More." Step 2 Click the drop-down arrow next to the top check box, and then select the type of emails you want to delete. The drop-down menu offers the following options: All, None, Read, Unread, Starred and Unstarred. Selecting any option only selects the emails from the existing page. Some options, such as "All," offer a secondary option to select all emails, as described in the first section. Step 3 Click "Delete" to move the selected emails to the Trash folder. To immediately delete these emails, click "Trash," select the emails, and then click "Delete Forever."
