This course is design for those who can’t give their time due to job.
Person who wants to learn computer and want to perform well in their job
place. It is a good opportunity.
Goal:
Aim of this training is to make aware of technology which is useful for
visually impaired person in their job place.
The main aim of this course is to make the candidates "Computer Literate"
and train them to become independent and efficient users of the computer in
today's electronic world. This will increase employment opportunities for
the visually disabled, help them do better in their jobs,
Course Highlights and Contents
• Keyboard orientation and Typing practice with software “Talking Typer”
• Basics of Software, Hardware and Network
• Introduction to Assistive technologies for visually impaired
• Basic concepts such as Desktop, Taskbar, Menus, Editing, Dialog box,
File/Folder management etc…
• Screen readers, NVDA and JAWS settings and help
• MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook
• Scanning, printing, CD burning and other applications
• Internet browsing, Internet based Email, on-line chat, internet calling,
social networking, reading websites, on-line file transfer etc…
Teaching aides and equipment used
• Computer with windows 7 and also brief knowledge about latest windows.
• Ms. Office 2010 and also as per uses.
• Latest NVDA and JAWS 17.
• Talking typer.
• Self-paced exercise of each concept.
• Tactile Diagrams for visual description.
• Computer curriculum design for each concept and employment aspect.
• Educated your-self easily (EYE) tool for exercise.
• Spelling tool for correcting spelling your-self.
• Student manual and trainer manual.
Why are we doing?
Many candidates are doing government job as per their qualification but
don’t have computer knowledge. Now today’s world required computer
knowledge because of the work processer.
To get permission in their placement computer skill is required. So
according to that we have design curriculum.
To get knowledge around us with the help of Technology and include
them-self in all activity which is happening.
Course details:
Duration: Duration of this course is 21 weeks /5 months.
Mode of Class: the class would be on every Sunday 11 am to 5 pm
Seats: 10
Place: National training Center Vijay nagar double story Delhi 110009
Eligibility: Any visually impaired person who are at job place.
