The Indian Sign Language Research and Training Center is developing an ISL
dictionary to be
released in both print form and video form. We have collected 5560 words:
(in English) under the
following heads:

1. Everyday words (1861 words)
2. Legal terms (971 words)
3. Academic terms (629 words}
4. Medical terms (1018 words)
5. Technical terms (1081 words)

The words are listed below. ISLRTC invites feedback and suggestions on the
word list.* Please*

by 05th December 20l6.*

After the word lists are final, ISLRTC will start video recording of the
signs.
