Dear all, At the outset let me express my gratitude to all the organizations forming part of the Alliance against nugatory and discriminatory provisions in RPD Bill 2014 and stalling its passage with those provisions in the year 2014 during previous regime. I would like to congratulate each one of you for getting the approval of the Cabinet for the amendment of the said bill based on the recommendations of Departmental Parliamentary Standing Committee. It is to inform that the Govt. would be moving the amendments in Rajya Sabha today. As soon as I get to know the details of the amendments, I will immediately share with you.
