Dear Jeegar, Please consult the genetic counselling department at SN, Chennai or LV Prasad, Hyderabad. In my case, I was told that as long as I married someone who is not related to me and not born to related parents, the chances of the next generation picking up the condition is on par with any other marriage. Since we have a genetic condition, its always better to take expert advice. More importantly, this issue has to be discussed openly before marriage with the other party.
