Blind Graduates Forum of India is honoured to be hosting a panel



discussion on the new RPD act 2016 to spread awareness about the key



changes in the new law along with its merits and demerits for persons



with disabilities. As the panellists, Mr. Amar Jain, Ms. Shilpi Kapoor



and Mr. Rajesh Asudani will be engaging in a thought-provoking



discussion on the law followed by a Q&A session for the participants.

About our speakers:



Mr Amar Jain is an alumnus of the Government Law College Mumbai. He



currently works as a corporate Loyer with a reputed law firm in



Mumbai.



Ms. Shilpi Kapoor Is a highly successful entrepreneur who currently



heads Barrier Break. Barrier Break provides a comprehensive set of



products and services to make life easier for persons with



disabilities. Shilpi has actively contributed with her inputs from



time to time for the formation of the new law.



Mr. Rajesh Asudani has written a dissertation on disability laws in



India and is at present conducting further research on the topic. He



has also actively contributed towards the making of the new law in



form of various constructive suggestions and ideas. Rajesh currently



works with the Reserve Bank of India as a Class-I officer.
