Snehadeep trust, a leading NGO, commences free computer training course For
the persons with visually challenged, With the aim to bring up awareness to
get better opportunities, And create a inclusive environment, For leading a
life with dignity and economic independence.

 

Last date for applying is 29-March-2017

Basic computer Training program

The trust aims to conduct a vigorous training Program for 2 months starting
from April 2016.
We aim to train the candidates in basic computer course and teach English.
Only 20 candidates are provided the opportunity for this computer course.

Our main focus areas is to provide Free computer training for the Visually
impaired with English communication as one of the main focal area Along with
soft skill and carrier guidance.

Teachers can apply for this course to gain computer knowledge.

Course outline includes:
Difference between hardware and software.
Working with Latest Windows operating system Working on famed word
processer. MS word.
Spread sheet application, ms excel.
Ms PowerPoint.
Introducing to the world of internet,
Using latest browsers like,
Google chrome, Firefox and internet explorer.
Email client configuration, MS outlook.
.         Screen Reading Software including Basic Operation and Screen
Reading Configuration
.         Scanning and OCR
.         Digital eBook reading (DAISY, PDF, EPUB etc.)
.         Utilities such as Dictionary, Encyclopedia, games, music, file
Compression and system maintenance.

This program helps the visually impaired people in their reading and
education as well as Enables them in their employment and career
opportunities.
English Communication classes which includes employment training, career
guidance, soft Skills, Counseling and Personality Development.

Many eminent personalities in different fields in training and employment
Would be involved in guiding and assisting the candidates during the
Training program.

Conclusion of the program.

The ultimate aim of this course is to make The candidate employable and use
computers for the all round development of his or her needs.



 

>From June 2017, Snehadeep would begin a 8 month complete computer course and
this training would facilitate job opportunities at the end of the training
programme in suitable jobs.



So far Snehadeep is very successful in placing almost all the trained
Candidates in Good jobs both in the government, banks and private sectors.

Eligibility

Candidates who have done their SSLC or +2 or second PUC and degree can Apply
for this course.
Proficiency in English
Preference given to graduates
Age limit: 18 to 30
Number of seats: 20
Last date of admissions: 29 March 2017.

2. No admissions will be entertained after 29TH of March 2017.
3. Hostel accommodation facility is available Interested candidates can
