Friends I have great pleasure in informing that Disability Advocacy Research and education foundation, DARE, is going to start Capacity Building Center for Blind Youth, CBCBY, at Nagpur from January 26, 2017.
In batches of six months, the programme will train the blind and low vision students in: 1. Basic computer skills jointly with Technical Training Institute Puna Blind Mens Association, TTI PBMA, with a certification by SPPU upon successful completion of prescribed syllabus; 2. Spoken English and soft skills;, and 3. Competitive aptitude with primers on relevant topics coupled with interactive questionnaires. However, at present, there are no hostel facilities and seats are limited.
