Seeing AI does have a very good document reading mode. However, you need to be connected to internet when using seeing AI. It would use the internet data for sending the file to Seeing AI server and getting the recognized text back. The process is ery fast though.
KNFB reader works even when not connected to internet. And has manu functions such as connectivity to dropbox or saving scanned documents or several other enhancements for document reading.
