Hi Aruni,

I did a full system scan with the software that you specified, but no luck.
Finally I managed to figure out the issue related to inaccessibility of some
folders. Vista home basic by default comes with restricted rights to certain
folders like "users". I don't know if it is true for Vista in general, but
it's certainly the case with the compact system. So one has to manually get
to the folder property and claim the administrative rights and I am able to
access my folders after doing that manually. But still trying to figure out
the issue related to folders/files within flash disk.

Vetri.

Hi vetri, it seems that your computer is afected by some virus or
spiware. I'll reply to your earlier mail. I am also using vista on a
regular basis and I face no such problems. There is a very good program
which acts like a firewall and also spiware tracker. it's compatible
with vista too. you can download it from

Regards,
Aruni.
