Halo friends.i am vatsal shah from baroda, gujrat.would like to share my achievements with you.just want to emphasize point that nothing is impossible in world.
When I had eyesight, I became national champion in roller speed skating withthree gold medals at colcotta.wanted to become engineer and go to u.s.a for masters.unfortunately lost eyesight and short term memory and hearing in tenth standard.was in coma for 15 days.had become paralytic.it took me one and half years to recover.gradually hearing came back and also I started walking.visited blind school in amdavad.said that there waws gujarati medium instruction.better if I studied at home.so my mother started recording audio cassettes.completed 10, 11 and 12 standard.wanted to study further.so took admission in m.s university.both I and my mother attended college daily.my mother would write down notes.return home and record notes and books.i use to appear for exams by keeping writer.also I learned german language.enjoyed college life.was source of inspiration for all as I was only blind student in class and even college.also gave presentation in class.graduated in English with first class.listened books scanned and saved in computer during third year.enjoyed taste of English literature and various genres like poems, plays, short stories, essays, autobiography, etc. I was more interested in fathers business.so pursued m.b.a correspondence or distance learning course. Again books were scanned and saved in computer.audio cassettes were recorded by my mother.father explained those topics where I had confusion.there were four semisters.completed m.b.a with first class. I daily started going to factory.also visited amdavad blind school to learn Braille, computer and mobility.i never ventured out of home alone as my parents were scared I would get hurt.my friends also inspired me.i took courage and visited places like Anand, Amdavad, Gandhinagar, Surat and Mumbai.my parents have now confidence in me.my brother and parents have now confidence in my ability.i have mastered various topics in computer.took online tuitions for one year.have learned various topics like google search, Wikipedia, sending e mail, making folder and such 60 topics.my family is looking forward to send me to Royal national college for blind which is in U.K.i use mobile phone also.have learned to identify currency notes also.moreover I also use debit card. I am invited by various institutions to share experience story of mine.it is said that tough times don't last but tough guys do.nothing is impossible.practice leads to perfection.so keep on learning new things.love people.world is small.read something everyday.learn English and computer which is must in this age of gadjets.if one knows English, computer and mobile phone, one can do wonders and travel anywhere in world.what is required in life is self confidence, patience. My grandfather who is 82 years old also uses mobile phone, desktop computer and also drives car.he has undergone many operations but he never gives up.remains busy or engrossed in some or other work whole day.there is no age for learning.in diwali holidays or any part of year, spare time and attend spoken English classes.see that your English speaking and writing skill is enhanced.in short gain mastery. After lot of practice, I have learned how to identify currency notes.so nothing is impossible.just as river never stops flowing or moving ahead, we should also not sit idle even for single minute.competition is tough.technology is advancing.so keep patience and self confidence.keep yourself updated with technology.dont sit idle and have useless negative thoughts.just remember that all people or politicians or athletes or musicians who have acquired mastery in their field have spend thousands of hours in sharpening their skills.this is secret of success.nobody will reveal.also it is law of nature and law of contribution.i daily remember one definition in mind while performing any work.yes, its definition of professional.it says: a professional is one who works with absolute integrity and excellence even when nobody is watching him around.everyone can get success if one follows this definition.just keep on practicing.please contact me for further guidance and computer learning skills and even mobile phone.can also teach English.
