The key benefit is that it is a wearable vs a smartphone, so you don't have to worry as much about pointing your phone in a particular direction or somehow positioning it so that the volunteer can see what you want him to see. In terms of availability, Be my Eyes is actually much better than this-it's almost instantaneous now on Be My Eyes. It's useful for a variety of things, e.g. sorting mail or navigation help.
