I am sharing it in the group. nothing special to do, as you press the book
now button the user ID and password field comes on the screen. it is
unreadable with virtual cursore in jaws, press jawskey+z to off the virtual
cursore. now it will speak user ID, password etc. as you submit OTP, again
press jawskey+z to on the virtual cursore. that's all from me. rest is in
the tutorial uploaded on youtube. this is a feature of screen reader not of
IRCTC, hence, it requires to make their website accessible across the screen
reader.

Bhavani sir,
Can you share some tips regarding IRCTC with jaws for advance users? You
can
share off the list if you feel that the search engin may catch it and IRCTC
people will become aware about it.
Thanks and regards,
Rohit Patil

It is my humble request to please don't let IRCTC people know about this.
otherwise we will lose the battle in the court of CCPD the case AICB vs
IRCTC. secondly I used IRCTC with jaws. if you are a regular and advance
user of jaws and know all about of usage of cursores you can also do it
with
jaws in IRCTC. but, the battle is for all users to enable the website use
across screen readers.

thank you,

bhawani

Subject: [AI] TUTORIAL ON USE OF IRCTC WEBSITE

hello,
some days ago there was discussion on the accessibility of IRCTC
website with screen reader to avail it's online services. it has been
reported by many users that this website has become totally
inaccessible with screen reader especially with jaws. however, still
this is the situation til today, there still a big hope to make use of
this website with the alternate screen reader like NVDA. with NVDA
latest version and latest version of mozilla firefox, we can surely
make use of this website comfortably. though i do not wish to count my
vote on its accessibility on the standard measures, but would like to
share some tips to make use of this website independently with the
latest version of NVDA AND Mozilla firefox. i would like to share one
tutorial to make use of this website considering the the current
scenario. so if you are interested to listen to this tutorial, then
requesting you to please click on the link given below:

thank you so much
