Whether the disabled community pressing for inclusion in medical courses or the government trying to keep us away should have a practical approach. Government should specifically come up with reasons as to how a particular disability is a restriction in practicing a particular medical profession. Similarly, we should impress upon them as to what and how reasonable accommodation can enable us in doing the same. If a surgeon requires both the hands in a particular surgery, then it becomes the responsibility of the aspirant to prove as to how he can do it. Medicine is not a profession where you can have trials or repeat a service failure due to the risks of life attached, and disability can not be an excuse in lapse.
