Recently, many Delhi Government Department, especially, schools, have
shifted from manual attendance system to biometric attendance system. In
Delhi schools, the machine which is being used is not accessible to the
visually impaired. It has a touch screen, where, after touching any of our
fingers, we have to enter the User Registration number. The finger detecter
is at a recognizable place but the numbers cannot be entered by touching on
the screen as they appear as a dial pad like android phones but there is no
speech access on the machine. So there is no way a V I can mark his/her
presence independently.

Has anybody got any solution for this obstacle? Is there any system/machine
which is android based and comes with a speech output? If so, kindly give
your opinions. We can demand the same system/machines from our
administration.
