Dear Pavan, VVPATs themselves are just a placebo and a concession by the ECI to a perpetually EVM-conspiracy theorising public.
I urge the blind community to desist from asking for VVPAT accessibility - the EVM which by virtue of its rudimentary design is invulnerable to largescale hacking precisely due to the lack of add ons and connectivity. Any extras are just going to mean more complexity which will lead to weaker security. How is a blind person supposed to know that the EVM has not been rigged? Very simple. Sighted people are the control in this scenario and are bound to raise an alarm if the input choice is not what VVPAT is showing.
