Hello,

I am using jaws 5 on windows 98 on my office pc. It's working all right. I
am trying to describe the steps again:

While in internet explorer, press insert+f2 to activate "run jaws managers".

Activate jaws configuration manager pressing enter on this option. This
should be the first manager on jaws 5 list.

Wait until the jaws configuration manager window opens. Press alt+s to
activate set options menu.

Press the letter h to activate html options submenu.

Press ctrl+shift+tab once to access Misc page.

Use tab until jaws says "Page Refresh Filter:" This is a combo box. Use down
arrow twice to select "Suppress All Refreshes".

Press tab once more where jaws says "ActiveX Refresh Filter:" Select
"Suppress All Refreshes" in this combo box in the same way.

The next control is a checkbox which says "Ignore Flash on Web Pages". Press
spacebar to check this option.

Activate the Ok button.

Press ctrl+s to save your configurations and exit the window using alt+f4.

Hope, this helps.

Best regards,

Amiyo.
