Hi AccessIndia mates? How are you? I've got a query. We are running a volunteer service through which we are scanning hard copy books and other printed materials into PDF files and providing those files to the blind and visually impaired students and teachers; we are using Fujitsu's ScanSnap SV600. Now my question is, which is (are) the best option(s) available to a print-impaired individual for accessing the material we provide to them?
Should they use JAWS OCR feature? Or should they resort to OpenBook? Or is NVDA the best choice? Or are there any other option(s) that are better than each of the above three? Please also include a detailed enough how-to tutorial in your answer. Regards. Sincerely, Saaqib Mahmood, a visually impaired person Search for old postings at: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ To unsubscribe send a message to [email protected] with the subject unsubscribe.
