Dear all,

The Blind Graduates Forum of India is back with yet another unique
session this March. This time you can expect a glimpse into the world
of multi-sensory learning, image processing and a lot more. To put it
simply; all of us are aware of the challenges we visually impaired
face in our daily lives with respect               to travel, studies
particularly Math and Science, reading scanned documents, etc.
Recognising these challenges, Touch Vision, a Delhi based NGO has
developed technology for the same. Read on to know more.
TouchVision,a social enterprise incubated at IIT Delhi aims at digital
inclusion for the 253 million visually impaired globally. TouchVision
kit enables affordable interactive access to learning material and
games in audio tactile form using tactile diagrams with assistive
audio descriptions powered by the mobile app. TouchVision Scandocs
empowers users to access any print document. TouchVision Audio Tactile
signages provide inclusive access to the message or content
communicated through signages.
 About the Speaker: Ankita Gulati is the founder of TouchVision. She
has been honoured with National Award by the President of India.
Ankita is serving as the youngest subject matter expert with
Rehabilitation Council of India and also as the youngest member of
board with WEE Foundation, IIT Delhi. She has received support from
Department of Science and Technology, MHRD and Delhi Govt. for
TouchVision and working with NCERT for dissemination of affordable
products to empower people with special abilities.

Date: Saturday  March 23rd 2019 Time: from 3 PM to 6 PM.
