Hi All, Couple of months ago, i had shared a video on my four tactile paintings. Here I am, once again, to share with you all about my fifth tactile painting. It's called "A Tranquil Moment". please download it's image from the dropbox link pasted below. https://www.dropbox.com/s/ya36gx5en5h02hy/A%20tranquil%20moment.jpg?dl=0 Description of the painting: It's a man and his dog standing on a green grass and overlooking a blue lake. there's a pinkish orange sunset sky at the far end of the lake. The major portion on the leftside is a tree with red and orange leaves. The tactile elements in this painting are the leaves, the tree trunk, the man, his dog and the grass. So when you touch it, you can actually feel all of them. It's a treat for both sighted and persons with vision loss as it's colorful and tactual. My message behind this painting is that it should be a reminder to people that although one's life is hectic, they should take time to spend doing the things they find peace in. I am visually impaired myself, i thought i'd never be able to get back to painting. but i sure was wrong. All the paintings i did were done by me and certainly i did take help to paint finer areas and for using strong glues like Feviquick. It would be nice to know what you all think of it. Thanks for taking time for reading this.
