Hi, Are you asking about document scanner? If so, there is the one which I purchased recently, from HP, for scanning at home, which is a flat bed scanner, very easy to use and very good working. It's model number is, HP Scanjet G4010. It almost takes 8 to 10 seconds to finish scanning a page, saving lot of time, so you could finish scanning a book within much less time. I have been using this scanner a lot recently, for my educational purpose, scanning books, papers, etc. Hope this helps. It is price is around 15 or 16,000 in indian market. Along all it's features, it comes with a OCR software from IRIS with HP, which you could use to read any books, if you need it, or you could also use it with other softwares like Kurzweil, Openbook, and others, works well.
