Hi all,
I just exercised my vote today morning at Chennai South constituency in book
number 193. I went in the morning around 7:30 AM along with my wife and my
experience was very smooth. I was waiting in the line which was recently long,
suddenly a policeman came to me and said that I need not have to wait in the
queue and can directly go in along with my wife. I just went in and I had no
issues. I told them I was visually impaired and immediately the PRO was called
in she just got some form filled up by my wife which said the details about the
accompanying person the address et cetera and she also handed over Braille
ballot papers to me. I said I did not want those papers as I did not know
Braille, I went to the cabin where they EVM machines are kept and my wife are
priced me the layout and I voted on my own.
