Hi Simran and all, I went through your email again today, and noticed that most of us seem to be glossing over some ways in which we can be of help and get people talking about this. As media specially such as movies short films with vidios on social platforms are what most people prefer to watch, I think you may have something that will help people take us a bit more seriously and not just as poor blind people that need help. here are the ways in which I can help you as you asked. 1. Share the social media post on this issue I would be happy to share this and other stories with people on various social media platforms 2. Post your story on social media with hashtags In terms of hashtags, I feel proper hashtags are really important to get people to notice the videos and stories and things that we are talking about, so when I post and share stories, I will be sure to give them hashtags you mentioned. Also, all of us that are interested in shareing our stories, creating animated stories etc should also moniter these hashtags. 3. Introduce me to someone like yourself, those who are working on the blind awareness issues, WhatsApp group on this matter, journalists passionate about this matter, and any influencers on social media I know a few people that are into the blindness awareness field and news agencies along with people that wannt to get their stories out there, along with some people who want to act,so I will be happy to put you in touch with them. via private email. 4. Join my acting as a participating actor: I am not into acting, but I guess I will be happy to, if the people I put you in touch with aren't enough. Through these videos showing different stories, we can not only help ourselvs being taken as normal people just with the difference that we are not able to see, but are still capable of doing things same as the rest. Thereby as I said previously getting rid of misconseptions that people have about blind people or any other asumtion. 5. More than anything - respond to this email that you are supportive to me!: I definitely am! I know what a difference a few words and whatever support you are able to get make in a persons life, and so I will write to you privately as well, but thought this needed to be shared publicly on the list , so that others could join in and help with this in which ever way they can I am sure there are many people here that can help you much more, but drops make an ocean and all that. I look forward to listening to stories of others and hope that people join in on social platform as well, so that this doesn't get lost in all the noise out there. Regards,
