We use mixed reality to add audio to tactile graphics. So far we have a book on animals, a numbers matching game book and so on. We make these interactive using a mobile phone. Though not concerned with computer literacy directly, the use of a smart phone in this way does expose young children to varied uses of technology and computers. Looking at applications is often a good motivator for learning more about the technology itself, hence, these could be good introductory tools.
