We are pleased to announce the *extension of Paper Submission deadline to 31st August* for EMPOWER 2019 (*14th – 17th October*, http://assistech.iitd.ac.in/empower2019/) The conference follows on the success of EMPOWER 2018 ( http://assistech.iitd.ac.in/empower2018/) and is being organized to bring together all stakeholders in the Assistive Technology sector. This includes researchers, industries, users and user organizations, special educators, inclusive designers, entrepreneurs as well as policymakers engaged in different ways with the issues involved in the creation, production and dissemination of assistive technology solutions. This four-day the event would see active participation of all stakeholders not only to discuss current solutions but also to seed ideas to work on future solutions. The event would consist of keynote talks, reviewed and invited papers, posters, user forums, panel discussions as well as an exhibition. The exhibition would feature a number of latest Assistive Technology products with an experience zone for users and others to try out these devices. It is an opportunity for researchers/experts from all over India to come together on one platform. Like the last conference, it would feature a number of International keynote speakers as well as user sessions on Assistive Technology tools.
