Reposting this as it didn't make it to the list due to it being down.
Hi,
I haven't really used any of the apps under discussion, but wonder if the
same results can not be achieved with either TapTapSee, or Seeing AI.
Whilst I find all the scanning apps to be a pain in the neck to use, they
are better than nothing at all. The RBI/ corts decision is nothing but a sop
at best, and I expected nothing else.
No tech/ app can replace the ease of use of being able to recognise the
currency being held, as aposed to fumbling with a note in one hand and the
phone/
device in another and then wait for it to shout out the results.
But then again, I suppose it would be rather naive to think that RBI would
consider changing the notes just because those blind people can not
recognise
the note they are holding, Why would they need to, after all?
Apologies about the slight rant, suppose that's the bitterness creeping
in, but honestly My question still stands, can't the existing apps be used
to
recognise the currency?
 Cheers.
