CIVIL SERVICES EXAMINATION, 2008

Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2008 will be conducted by the Union
Public Service Commission on 18th May, 2008 for recruitment to the Indian
Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service and
certain other Group 'A' and Group 'B' Central Services/Posts at various centres
across the country.
For details regarding the Syllabus and Scheme of the Examination,
Centres of examination, Guidelines for filling up the application form etc.
aspirants must consult the Detailed Notice of the examination published in the
Employment News/Rozgar Samachar dated 29th December, 2007.
Candidates may note that there are changes in the Syllabi of General Studies
Papers and all the Optional Papers of Civil Services (Main) Exam 2008, excepting
the Literature Papers of languages.
