Hi Friends, at this juncture I would also like to add over the usage of wi fi debit cards which could be utilised to debit amount from our account without the use of our PIN number being typed into the POS device.
I really don't know how it 's been allowed by RBI which has a great risk for fraudulent withdrawal if the card is misplaced or stolen. Infact I don't know how many of us know that such cards are available at banks and issued even the knowledge of the users as I did till the time I used in a shop where I wondered how the transaction got completed without my pin number being typed and when I questioned about it when I received a promotion call from card insurance company linked with ICICI. When I shared about this to my colleagues about such transaction and to beware of such cards no one was aware about such cards to date.
