Hi,
As everyone already said, as of now the older scheme is more
beneficial for us in most of the cases.
80U deduction is available in new scheme also. The complete text no
where mensions 80U in the list of deductions to be given up under the
new scheme.
One important point, the deduction under Sec80D which is availed by
persons having a disabled dependent is not applicable in the new
scheme.

Hi experts, In the new slab system will we be able to avail the
deduction under 80 U?
If the system is designed to reduce saving and increase expenditure of
individuals then the Principal and interest paid towards purchase of
house will be taken for tax exemption?
What about the conveyance allowance and HRA allowance deduction from
being deducted as nontaxable income...?
