Dear all! greetings from Radio Udaan. Here is a great opportunity for all the debaters During the lock down and the Corona virus, Radio Udaan brings a live competition for all the listeners. It will be a debate competition. The aim of this competition is to bring out the hidden talent of our listeners. Radio Udaan is always at your side in this respect. We always try something new to bring out the hidden talent. We will take entries for this event through WhatsApp. The number for the same is-9780238512. The entries shall be as a team consisting of two participants, one for the motion and other against the motion. We will select 10 performances for and 10 against the motion and those entries selected will be webcasted on the radio. For example: if we receive 100 entries for, and 100 against the motion, these entries shall be assessed offline, and best 10 entries from each category shall be selected for the webcast One performance for the motion and one against the motion will be selected as the winner and they will get cash prize of Rs. 2100 each. The decision of the judges will be last and final. The last date of submitting the performances will be April 14th 2020. The participant must adhere to following points:-
The assessment of the performance will be done on the basis their content, creativity, presentation language and pronunciation, expressions etc. The timing of the performance will be from 3-to-5 minutes and any performance less or above the specified time will be automatically disqualified. Candidates can choose English or Hindi as their preferred language. Using both the languages in one performance will be subject of disqualification. However participants are allowed to quote couplets of any language. We will accept only those entries which would be not edited.
