Dear Zubaan supporter,

Join us on Saturday, 2 May 2020, 12 pm (IST) for the next in our series of conversations with feminist researchers, scholars and activists on the issues posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdown in India.

Activists Nidhi Goyal (Rising Flame), Shampa Sengupta (Sruti Disability Rights Centre) and Bhaotina Mushahary (Action for Inclusion & Empowerment Trust) will be speaking about the impact the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown have had on people living with disabilities and answering questions on the same.

Sign language interpretation will be available for this discussion.

This will be the last discussion in this series that we have framed as one about 'A Crisis of Care', rooted in the feminist principles of collectiveness, compassion and care that should be driving responses (ours as well as the state's) to the public health emergency and the parallel humanitarian crises it has led to. Join in and share your thoughts and comments, or just stop by to listen.
