Maharashtra government on Tuesday informed Bombay HC that it was providing specially-abled students online education at special schools and training centres run by NGOs during Covid-19. In response to a PIL filed by a NGO Anamprem, which claimed students with disabilities were left out of purview of state policy on online education, the state said it had appointed Jay Vakeel Educational and Research Institution as nodal agency.
