October 8th is World Sight Day, an annual observance to draw attention to
blindness and vision impairment. To celebrate this year's theme of 'Hope In
Sight', we have invited Dr Umang Mathur, an experienced ophthalmologist as
the next speaker on Eyeway Encounters. Executive Director of Shroff's
Charity Eye Hospital, Dr Mathur will share his learnings from several years
of treating and interacting with patients with varied eye problems. The
session will also touch upon the need to sensitize the medical fraternity
and create awareness about living life with blindness.
