My mother got her new smartphone 3 years ago, almost after an year of use
she told me that Google is listening all her calls. Whatever she will talk
she will get similar things in YouTube recommendation even though she did
not see a single video of the kind. I did not believe and denied.

She told again and again and I denied again and again until I was attending
a Data Science class and the tutor shared similar experiences.

It was then I started noticing these things more closely. It was known that
if I go and search amazon for thing x, my facebook and google and
everything will get patted with suggestions, but now I observed that things
which I have never searched in life came down there. How did they come? I
realised I was discussing them in long calls with my friends, when I
pointed this out one of my friends agreed too.

Today my friend residing in Delhi called me. He was looking for a job
change. Based on his skills and knowledge I asked him to try one of the
companies which is in Noida.

Guess what? Few minutes later the IT firm was showing up in my feed out of
nowhere, I have never seen it there till now. I cannot believe this can be
a mere coincidence.
