Dear Friends, There is a proposal to merge several national institutes working under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, cut down staff and expenditure, originally mooted by the Dept of Expenditure.
Attached is a petition addressed to the Minister for Social Justice & Empowerment, Shri Thawar Chand Gehlot, urging him not to go ahead with the proposal. The appeal also contains a backgrounder as an annexure.
