If you have only 1 number on whatsapp. Then also you can do that.
Open your browser like chrome. In the search box type "wa.me / your number" with 91 without using plus sign. For example, your number is 123, so you will type "wa.me/91123" and search that your chat will be open. Send hi or anything whatever you want to keep displaying on the whatsapp. On the place generally where whatsapp displays the name of the person, there will be your number. Try this trick and share your experience.
