Thing is, I'm trying to book railway ticket using my photo ID to no avail. So a couple of questions: 1) I was reading that the railway ID is of 11 numbers. Is it so? And if yes, is it only numeric or is it, in fact, alphanumeric? 2) whenever I enter my escort's PAN, it says maximum 9 characters. Could someone guide me as to what could be going wrong?
